Dnd 2024 Ranger. The ranger has been a point of frustration since the 2014 dnd 5e rules launched, plagued by underwhelming subclasses and frustrating class features. So far everything i've seen with 2024 ranger makes me believe playing phb+tasha's is still the superior design for fun and theme.

Combat wise the ranger will be fine (assuming they revert hm back to damage on each hit from where it was in the playtest), but so much of this class is going. Rpgbot kamstra august 15, 2024.
